Warren Remembers Jean

I remember Jean and Russ having Doug and I over as young boys for a special holiday sleepover. We went with Jean the following day to "the Loop" on the NW Commuter train and had lunch at the Marshall Field's Tea Room. It had a giant Christmas Tree in the middle of it. Then we went to visit Santa and tell him what we'd like for Christmas.

More recently, I could count on Jean to give me a ring on the phone on Sunday night about 9 PM to ask me if I was getting ready for bed and share with me her recent bingo luck.

Always a generous and lively person, I will miss her attention and special care for me as "one of her boys".
